Attracting￥2 tn investment to underdeveloped areas in Guangdong

On May 4th, the Guangdong Provincial Government Information Office held a press conference for the Pearl River Delta and the Eastern, Western and Northern Regions of Guangdong Economic and Trade Cooperation and Investment Promotion Conference.
During the press conference, Zhang Jinsong, the Director-General of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce, revealed that nearly 200 well-known domestic and foreign companies, including Saudi Aramco, Tesla, Fosun, and Pinduoduo, have signed up to attend the investment promotion conference in Guangzhou on May 11th.
In terms of investment promotion for the eastern, western, and northern regions of Guangdong, the province has set a target of attracting over 5,000 domestic and foreign investment projects with a total investment of more than 2 trillion yuan over the next five years, including more than 1,000 industrial projects with investment exceeding 10 million yuan.
Compared with the Yangtze River Delta region, the problem of imbalanced regional development in Guangdong has not been solved. Therefore, promoting the orderly industrial relocation from the Pearl River Delta to the eastern, western, and northern regions of Guangdong is conducive to revitalizing the regions and promoting coordinated regional development.
The theme of this investment promotion conference is "Regional Cooperation for Win-Win Development", focusing on orderly industrial relocation and adhering to the principles of government promotion, enterprise participation, market operation, and win-win cooperation.
Prioritizing the investment environment and related policies in the three regions of Guangdong, this investment promotion conference and showcases the development potential and investment opportunities in these regions. Based on the industrial foundation and resource endowment of these regions, the conference will introduce three major industries: the green chemical industry, electronic information, and smart home appliance.
Since industrial parks are the main platforms for accepting relocated industries, the conference has invited representatives of the province's characteristic industrial parks, national and provincial economic development zones, and industrial park associations to make promotion presentations on-site, so as to attract high-quality enterprises to set up branches in these industrial parks.
Recently, Guangdong has established 15 such platforms in the eastern, western, and northern regions of Guangdong, as well as in some counties (cities) in Jiangmen, Huizhou, and Zhaoqing, to receive relocated industries from domestic and foreign regions, especially the Pearl River Delta.
Zhang Jinsong stated that, "We will attract both domestic and foreign investment, and welcome enterprises from foreign, private, and state-owned sectors. In this way, we aim to establish an industrial pattern of coordinated development between domestic and foreign enterprises from upstream and downstream industries in Guangdong."
广东争取为省内欠发达地区引进2万亿元投资
5月4日，广东省人民政府新闻办公室举行珠三角与粤东西北经贸合作招商会新闻发布会。
会上，广东省商务厅厅长张劲松透露，即将于5月11日在广州举办珠三角与粤东西北经贸合作招商会，已吸引沙特阿美、特斯拉、复星、拼多多等近200家国内外知名企业报名参会。
对于粤东粤西粤北的招商，广东也立下了目标——将通过5年努力，争取粤东粤西粤北地区累计引进内外资产业项目5000个以上，投资总金额超2万亿元，其中投资超千万元的产业项目1000个以上。
相比长三角，广东区域不平衡的问题一直得不到根本性解决，因此，推动珠三角产业有序向粤东西北转移，有利于振兴粤东西北，促进区域协调发展。
本次招商会以“区域联动 合作共赢”为主题，紧扣产业有序转移，坚持政府推动、企业主体、市场运作、合作共赢。
这次招商会把推介的重心放在粤东粤西粤北地区，将对粤东粤西粤北投资环境、投资政策进行全面推介，全方位展示粤东粤西粤北发展潜力与投资机遇。同时根据粤东粤西粤北地区的产业基础和资源禀赋，招商会有针对性地推介绿色化工、电子信息、智能家居三大产业，作为招商会的主攻方向。
而园区平台是承接产业有序转移的主阵地，招商会特别邀请了省内产业有序转移主平台、特色产业园区、国家级及省级经开区、园区协会等代表，在现场作重点推介，努力招引一批高质量企业入园发展。
日前，广东省部署在粤东粤西粤北地区以及江门、惠州、肇庆部分县(市)打造15个承接产业有序转移主平台，承接国内外特别是珠三角地区产业转移。
张劲松表示，“内资、外资一起招，外企、民企、国企一起引，希望通过这种方式，推动广东形成内外资上下游配套、协同发展的产业格局。”(更多新闻资讯，请关注羊城派 pai.ycwb.com)
