UB6 is a super Austenitic stainless steel, full name URANUS B6, belonging to the British material number.

UB6 is a very low carbon, high alloying austenitic stainless steel designed for harsh corrosion conditions. It has better corrosion resistance than 316L and 317L. At the same time, both price and performance are considered to be cost-effective. Due to the addition of 1.5% copper, excellent corrosion resistance to reducing acids such as sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid. It also has excellent corrosion resistance to stress corrosion, pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion caused by chloride ions, and has good intergranular corrosion resistance.
