01and
and前后所连接的所有单词、从句或短语同等重要：
It was a big horse, tall and bony.
那是一匹又高又瘦的大马。
Hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
抱最好的希望, 做最坏的打算。
The boy was startled and his eyes were big.
那男孩吓了一跳，眼睛圆睁。
She has already apologized and I have accepted her apology.

02as well as
而as well as是用来提及与正在讨论的主题相关的另一事物时使用的连词。强调其前面的主题。
He grows flowers as well as vegetables in his garden.
他在花园里种了花，也种了些蔬菜。

Students should pursue their own interests, as well as do their school work.
学生不仅要做功课，而且要追求自己的兴趣。
（做功课是重点；兴趣是补充）

03主谓一致
请记住
and连接两个单词做主语，是复数：
Air and waterare the natural resources all lives need to live.
空气和水是所有生命所需要的自然资源。
Truth and roseshave thorns about them
真理和玫瑰一样，身上皆有刺。
（隐喻真理如同玫瑰一样,不容易被人接受。）
as well as连接两个单词做主语，谓语动词要与as well as前的单词保持数的一致：
John, as well as Mary,wants to take the course.
The moon as well as the starswas shining down on them.
月亮和星星都照耀着他们。
04together with
与…一起
together with用法和as well as一样
My father, together with his brothers, has gone to Europe.
我父亲和他的兄弟们去了欧洲。

He sent her some books, together with a dictionary.
